Summer Reading Results
The Hobart Public Library would like to thank Mad Science, Finer Arts, Great Plains Youth & Family Group Connection, and Travis Tacker-Kiowa County OSU Extension Coordinator for a job well done in presenting programs for the children during the 2024 Adventure Begins at Your Library Summer Reading Program.
Thank you to everyone who attended the programs and craft days. We had 164 people who attended this year. Thank you for making the program a success!
We would like to thank all those who participated in the Summer Reading Contest. The Children’s Group read a total of 72,776 pages, the Teen Group read a total of 4,016 pages, the Young Adult Group read a total of 9,096 pages and the Adult Group read a total of 49,474 pages for a grand total of 135,362 pages read from June 1st through July 31st. We had a successful reading program this year and look forward to next year. If you didn’t get to participate in this year’s program be sure and sign up next year.
